Route 6 Pizza Barn celebrated its second anniversary in style on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, free pizza, and an afternoon packed with family-friendly activities.

From 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 p.m., customers, neighbors, and friends gathered outside the popular eatery as owners Adam and Jessica Keppeler, joined by representatives from Mainstreet Edgerton, cut a bright red ribbon to mark the restaurant’s successful year.

The birthday bash also served as the grand finale of a month-long giveaway campaign. Throughout November, every customer who left a review on Facebook or Google was entered to win prizes.

Tuesday’s festivities included:

-10% off all dine-in orders.
-Face painting and a pizza-box decorating contest for kids.
-A prize wheel (one free spin with any $5 purchase).
-Trivia games and raffle tickets for free pizza.
-A donation drive for Toys for Tots and the local food pantry—every cash or toy donation earned a free skillet cookie or a coupon sheet.

The Keppelers announced that 100% of proceeds from prize-wheel spins would provide holiday meals for families in need.

By the end of the evening, the restaurant had collected toys, donations, and distributed countless skillet cookies and high-fives.

Route 6 Pizza Barn, beloved for its hand-tossed pizzas, loaded skillet cookies, and house-made root beer, first opened its doors on November 25, 2024.

Just one year later, the family-owned restaurant at 404 W. Vine St. has become a favorite stop for locals and travelers alike along the Route 6 corridor.

As the ribbon fell and the crowd hurried inside for warm pizza on a chilly November afternoon, the celebration underscored what the Keppelers say makes their business special: great food and an even greater sense of community.

Route 6 Pizza Barn continues to accept toy donations for Toys for Tots through the holiday season.
