Indiana Region Of The American Red Cross Recommends Safety Tips Ahead Of Impending Winter Storm


INDIANAPOLIS — The National Weather Service (NWS) is monitoring a large winter storm with potentially significant snow, sleet, and freezing rain that is expected to create travel disruptions and hazardous conditions.

NWS has issued Winter Weather watches and warnings across the entire Indiana Region through Thursday.

“We are encouraging everyone to prepare for this significant winter weather storm,” said LaMar Holliday, regional communications director for the American Red Cross – Indiana Region.”

“The American Red Cross stands ready to support communities who may need our assistance during this storm.”
