The Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities is determined to ensure the availability of programs, services, and supports that assist individuals with developmental disabilities, of all ages, and their families, in choosing and achieving a life of increasing capability such that they can live, play, and work in the community.
Position Description:
The Medicaid Specialist will support the agency and SSA Department with determining eligibility and overseeing the intake process, completing the Cost Projection Tool, and conducting all applicable assessments. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform duties related to the intake and eligibility process;
- Serve as Medicaid Services Manager;
- Enter all Cost Projection Tool (CPT) data based on ISP authorizations and generate Payment Authorization for Waiver Services (PAWS), Daily Rate Application (DRA) information and/or Monthly Rate Calculator (MRC);
- Support SSA’s with Prior Authorization and Budget Override requests, when applicable;
- Provide technical support to providers regarding PAWS billing issues, contacting DODD for support, if needed;
- Assist eligible individuals/families, not receiving other board services, with accessing Family Support Service (FSS) funding;
- Serve as Back-Up MUI Contact, enter MUI reports as needed.
This is a full-time, hourly position, working 40 hours per week, 12 months per year. Benefits include medical insurance; membership into Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS); paid leave and holidays; and, flexible schedule including the opportunity for telework.
