Carol Lee Potts, age 78, of Defiance, Ohio passed away on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023, at Toledo Hospital.
Carol was a registered nurse for many years. Nursing and caring for others were her greatest joy.
Carol was born on July 26, 1944, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of Hazel McCormick. She graduated from Kent State University in 1995 with her nursing degree.
She married Thomas C. Potts on January 14, 1971 in East Liverpool, Ohio and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2014. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Kandace (Ralph) Potts-Salaz, of Defiance; sons, Stevan Potts, of Defiance, Scott Crossen, of Mesa, Arizona and Mike (Beth) Crossen, of Cleveland, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, Kaden Salaz, Benjamin Potts, and Corey, Christine, Hayley, Courtney, Kelsey, Mackenzie and Mikey Crossen and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; husband and sister, Dolores Dawson.
In accordance with Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with arrangements.
