Dorothy Sheets, 90 years, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020, at the Laurels of DeKalb, Butler, Indiana. Dorothy was born September 4, 1930, in Stryker, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy and Alma (Brace) Stambaugh. She was a 1948 graduate of Stryker High School.
Surviving are her two children, Jack (Denise) Sheets II of Bryan and Jill (Neil) Wonderly of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Lisa Wonderly, Chad Wonderly and Dr. Lora Wonderly; one brother, Robert (Norma) Stambaugh of Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, former spouse, Jack Sheets; twin sons, Ronald and Donald Sheets; three brothers, Glenn, Ellery and Russell Stambaugh; five sisters, Lucille Burns, Mary Ussery, Ruth Davis, Donna Oyer and Virgie King.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation and services will be private for the family. Interment will be made in Brown Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy to consider memorial contributions be made to Williams County Humane Society or to Fort Defiance Humane Society.
