Williams County Department of Aging, a public sector provider of services to senior citizens located Williams County, Ohio, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Executive Director. Under administrative direction of the Board of Commissioners, the individual will manage all departmental operations, programs, and facilities; formulate policies, procedures, and administrative rules necessary for the efficient management and operation of the department; provide guidance to ensure proper implementation of area department of aging rules and regulations; perform administrative functions (i.e., budget, fiscal monitoring and development, grant writing, records and documentation, facility and equipment maintenance/management, etc.); monitor all required official reports; supervise staff, volunteers, and assigned public assistance workers; recruit, train and instruct, and evaluate personnel; ensure work complies with organizational standards; perform public relations tasks; ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services for the elderly; and communicate with community resource agencies to obtain or give referrals for services needed. Qualifications include completion of post-secondary education with related degree preferred or an equivalent of three (3) to four (4) years work experience in management and/or supervision of a service-oriented organization and valid driver’s license.
